• We only do a few styles but we do them very well.
• In order to preserve the reputation of a well crafted Bolga basket we will not add new styles until we;
1. Know that the design WORKS and functions well
2. Know that we can get a good supply
3. Can ensure the quality meets our very high standards
• Some styles of baskets are easier to obtain than others and we cannot guarantee a large supply of certain styles and sizes.
• We pay the weavers by the size, in inches, so we sell by the size, in inches. It is the fairest way for all. We can do this in metric also.
• For your convenience baskets are measured and the size is recorded on a small retail price tag hanging from the wine loop or handle for easy identification.
• The sacks, in which the baskets are shipped, will be clearly marked as to what styles and sizes they contain.
• We receive a vast array of colour schemes from our weavers.
• We do not accept colour specific orders as the baskets and hats are a weaver’s inspired creation–otherwise they become robots, a cheap pair of hands.
